GridMerge is a Windows program for the leveling of gridded airborne magnetic and gamma-ray spectrometric data. It provides all the tools required for adjusting the grids (using a combination of shift, scale and tilt adjustments) to bring them to the same level, and then seamlessly merging the grids into a single composite compilation.
The program comes with Help tutorials, and demonstration magnetic and radiometric grids. So you can learn to use GridMerge without having your own grids.
The program operates on ER Mapper (.ers) grids.
GridMerge is currently free – it comes with a Free License automatically installed. No registration is required – simply install and run the program.
GridMerge Features:
Pre-processing of grids - trimming edges, trimming to coastlines, trimming overlaps
Leveling grids using either base grids or control lines as datums
Leveling grids using shift, scale and tilt adjustments
Feathering and merging of grids into larger compilations
Grid sub-sectioning
